Ishmael Kennedy Sr. 94, of Hackensack, New Jersey entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2023. He was Born Febuary 18, 1928 in Ansonia, Connecticut to the late George & Emma Kennedy. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having received an honorable discharge. He was a retiree from the BF Goodrich Company of Shelton, Connecticut and also retired from the Darien, Connecticut Branch of the United Postal Service after many years of distinguished service. He was a member of the M.W. Grand Lodge F,&A.M., Prince Hall Affiliation, State of Connecticut. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving four children, Carla (Ricardo) Kennedy-Williams, Pamela K. (Marvin Sr.) Pendelton, Joanne K. (Joseph) Maple & Ishmael (Natalie) Kennedy Jr. He also leaves seven Grandchildren, Tameka, Marvin Jr., Marquis, Jerrell, Jannell, Aria, Kiera he will also be missed by his special cousin Clarence (Tookie) Beall , Sister In-Law Rev. Dorothy Kennedy and Goddaughter Kathy Chambers, as well as a host of neices, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Graham-Kennedy, his daughter Linda Kennedy and brothers Dr Clyde Kennedy and Jesse Kennedy. Ishmael enjoyed his retired life at the racetrack, a good card game, watching football games, and early mornings in the neighborhood park walking aroung the track.
