On Friday, January 7, 2022, Maribel Sanchez, beloved mother, sister, aunt, daughter, niece, cousin and friend, passed away at the age of 55.
Maribel had a passion for travel, she loved cruises. She loved Merengue (in particular, El Motor by Aramis Camilo), Salsa and Bachata “Mari” as she was affectionately called, was known for her infectious laugh, cheerful demeanor, her fiercely protective and supportive nature, for being hardworking, wonderful, loving, and a devoted friend and family member.
Maribel leaves to cherish her memories and legacy: daughter, Vanessa; son, Christopher; grandchildren, Lisandro, Leandro, Landen and Vanely; mother, Thelma Aquino; father,
Guillermo Minaya; siblings, Jina, David, Richard, Kathleen, Ana, Pilar; nieces, Sofia and Zara; nephews, Alejandro and Dave; in-laws, Sammy, Alex and Zaritma (by Ligno Sanchez); and by her fierce and loyal protector, Benji.
