STACEY DARCEL SCALES

Stacey Scales, age 63, died on May 24, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Stacey was born to John Scales and Leola Pettigrew in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1959. She was the youngest of 8 siblings. Stacey graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School and moved to San Francisco soon after, a city that always held a special place in her heart, and the city in which her beloved son Jeremy was born. They moved to New York City some time after, where she spent the remaining years of her life. She greatly enjoyed church and being a member of her local community garden. Stacey will be remembered as a loving mother, caring friend and a vivacious woman who brought joy to the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
